Vitamin C...
A new product that baby and I saw recently in Malaysia. We bought 1 to try it!

Item Description from
Japan Centre:
Look inside any refrigerator in a Japanese convenience store, or watch any commercial break on Japanese TV and you won't have to wait long before you come across these funny little bottles. Like Alice In Wonderland dark glass potion bottles, they contain high energy drinks which could be compared to lucozade and red bull. Advertised for health, energy and strength, they are packed full of vitamins with sports stars often advertising the most popular on television. C1000 Vitamin Lemon contains vitamins C, B1, E, glucose and lemon. LOTS of vitamin C!
This bottle contains 1000mg of VITAMIN C!I took half a bottle or more yesterday night and I got diarrhea at 6 plus AM thus you see this post now! At first, I thought it is the overnight bread I took but I asked baby, he did not feel weird or whatsoever so I try to google to find more about YOU C1000 Vitamin Lemon, perhaps it causes it and I took more than baby. There is another post of it too saying he felt bloated and such.
Taking high doses of Vitamin C (1000 to 2000 milligrams per day) can cause diarrhea, stomach cramps and nausea. Vitamin C is water-soluble – what your body doesn't use, it flushes out of your system – so these symptoms will usually disappear once the dose of Vitamin C has been reduced.
But, I feel that this is a good solution to say goodbye to constipation that most girls have! It is a natural laxative. When I was in secondary 4, I keep having constipation thus I took hell lots of laxative even up to 10 pills at one go. For the first time, you will feel that it is good as it helps to clear up but for the second time, you need to have more dosage than the previous one to be effective. AND, LAXATIVES CAUSE YOU CONSTIPATION! These few days, I do not have constipation. I went to toilet even up to 4 times a day just to shit. Feel so comfortable! My stomach will not be that bloated and I hate it when it is!
Want to get that bloatness out of your stomach and life? Perhaps, can try to drink half a bottle a day? The flavor of it is not bad. It is not that sour, neither too sweet and a little fizzy! So, get one today! There is orange flavor too. So, get the flavor you pefer more. I am not sure if it is available in Singapore as I got it at Malaysia. Another way is to consume more vegetables, I consumed double consumption of vegetables and fruits compared to meat. I am getting sick of guava. Uh uhh. Fruits is healthy and I think baby is getting tired of me saying I want fruits after every meal. But, baby! You want me to be healthy right? Bang!
Wow, the nutritions in GUAVA is awesome!
...didn't know that!
Extracted from
Guava Fruit Nutrition:
Guava are one of the best fruits available. Guava's are cholesterol, saturated and sodium free, plus low in fat and calories. Guava are high in fiber. The edibile rind of a guava contains 5 times more vitamin C than an orange. Guava is a great fruit because it contains key nutrients like: vitamin C, carotenoids, folate, potassium, fiber, calcium and iron. Calcium is typically not found in high amounts in many fruits.
...yea, come on guava baby! shan't say goodbye to you! that explains even more to why i had diarrhea.
HARD FACTS on Vitamin C:
One of the most widely taken supplements in the United States, Vitamin C, also referred to as ascorbic acid, is a very important antioxidant proven to boost the immune system, build collagen, reduce arterial aging and prevent plaque build-up. Your body's ligaments, tendons and collagen need Vitamin C to stay strong and healthy. Vitamin C, as with all antioxidants, also helps to counter the effects of free radicals (cell-damaging molecules) and even helps the body recycle other antioxidants.
United States vitamin C recommendations[37] from
Wikipedia:
Recommended Dietary Allowance (adult male) 90 mg per day
Recommended Dietary Allowance (adult female) 75 mg per day
Tolerable Upper Intake Level (adult male) 2000 mg per day
Tolerable Upper Intake Level (adult female) 2000 mg per day
So, I guess You C1000 Vitamin Lemon/Orange is a lot of mg above the recommendations. I am going to nag this product to my mum so that I do not need to fork out a cent out of my own pocket.
...out of a sudden, i thought of going to pub! never been 1 before, hmm?!
She pens her thoughts at
8:00 AM.
